Former Kebbi PDP guber candidate Gen Bande joins ADC

The former governorship candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), General Aminu Muhammed Bande on Monday formally joined Action Democratic Congress (ADC) at Nassarawa I Ward in Birnin Kebbi.

Bande, who resigned his membership of the PDP on Sunday has formerly received membership card of the ADC in Kebbi.

The ex-guber candidate was unveiled at Azbir Arena in Birnin Kebbi amid cheers and momoth crowd of party officials,supporters, family and well wishers”.

Speaking to the crowd after his defection, he said he joined the ADC because he believes in the party’s political ideology and its capability to rescue Nigeria and Nigerians.

“I have been playing behind the scenes with Abubakar Malami for over one year before I formerly join the ADC rescue boat to salvage our state and Nigeria”.

He noted that ADC is capable of ending insecurity in Nigeria and can bring about socio-economic growth and can revive all ailing sectors in the country.

He appealed to members of the party to shelve political ambition in order to nurture the party to fruitation even as he urged PDP, PRP, ADC and SDP to come together as a force to unseat the ruling party at all levels.
