Benue lawmaker Achado assures constituents provision of quality infrastructure

The member representing Gwer-East/ Gwer West Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Arch. Asema Achado, has assured people of his constituency that he would continue to fulfill his campaign promises by providing quality infrastructure as well as making valuable contributions on the floor of the House that would improve the living conditions of members of his constituency.

Achado, who spoke weekend, after conducting journalists round some of his projects across the federal constituency including a renovated 8-man police residential quarters and office complex of Divisional Police Headquarters, installation of four transformers and construction of township roads all in Aliade, explained that his decision to carryout the renovation and furnish both the staff quarters and office complex with state-of-the-art facility like modern beds, standard chairs with electrical gadgets such as plasma television each at the police staff quarters and provision of computers and solar panels at the office is to motivate police personnel to do the job with commitment, adding that security of lives and property of members of his constituency is a priority to him.

Other projects include two dams at Mbaabir community about 75 percent construction and the other at Mbadaku in Mbakyan council ward in Mbapier kindred all in Gwer-East Local Government Area. He said he decided to embark on the two projects to reduce the suffering people of the two communities especially women and young ladies go through during dry season in search of clean water, and promised to do more if resources would permit him.

Responding on behalf of people of Mbaabir community, kindred head of Mbawergba, Zaki Akula Akpehe, expressed appreciation to their representative, Arch. Achado, for coming to their aid by constructing the Dam, describing the gesture as a welcome development.
