As the world marks the 2025 Eid-el-Fitri, the Labour Party chairmanship hopeful for Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC, in the forthcoming 2026 FCT Councils Elections, Pharmacist Chilaka Sigmund, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah while admonishing them to remain steadfast in the virtues of the Holy Prophet.
Speaking through his media team in Abuja on Sunday, Sigmund said he was happy that the event was celebrated peacefully across the country, and payed that peace returns fully to all troubled parts of the country.
“I am glad that there is relative peace in the country as our brothers and sisters mark this very important agelong religious ceremony. I pray that Nigeria would witness continuous peace going forward”, Chilaka said.
The Labour Party chairmanship aspirant expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the peaceful conduct of the event as witnessed on Sunday. He also thanked President Bola Tinubu, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike as well as security agents.
