The All Progressives Congress (APC) has felicitated with its National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru on the occasion of his 53rd birthday anniversary.
In a release issued by the party in Abuja on Wednesday, the National Publicity Secretary of APC, Felix Morka described the celebrant as an accomplished politician.
“A legal luminary, astute administrator, author, legislator and accomplished politician, Senator Basiru continues to distinguish himself in public service.
“At 53, he has etched his name on the sands of time with a remarkable history of leadership and selfless service. Basiru’s political evolution, beginning with his affiliation with the Alliance for Democracy (AD), which later morphed into the Action Congress (AC); Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), and eventually the All Progressives Congress (APC), where he currently serves as National Secretary, has been one of unapologetic progressivism”, APC said.
According to APC, Senator Basiru has brought his stellar leadership acumen, professionalism and thoroughness to bear on the administration of the National Secretariat and activities of their Party.
The party added that his efficiency and dedication to duty remain a source of inspiration to all.
