Few days ago, there were fake and unverified reports circulating in the media aimed at promoting bad governance and tarnishing the good image of Governor Umar Namadi’s administration and destroying the good laid initiatives and policies of Jigawa State Savings and Loans Limited under the credible leadership of Managing Director, Dr Babandi Isa Gumel.
The so-called faceless group of unscrupulous elements called: ”Noble Youth Mass Support Association” that has credible officials address has no evidence of registration with relevant authorities has just suddenly fabricated lies, malicious storytelling, propaganda aimed at creating confusion in Jigawa State.
The faceless people deliberately created fake reports alleging that the serving Managing Director of Jigawa Savings and Loan Limited should be removed from office because of wrongdoing, fraud charges, nepotism and corruption.
According to them he carted away large sums of monies running into millions for his personal aggrandizement and to please cronies. This is indeed a lie from the highest pit. These faceless people have been specialized in creating lies and propaganda to generate controversy in public domain.
They lack empathy, compassion and kindness as well as integrity in promoting productivity and objectivity in public governance.
We are in democratic world where rule of law, fundamental principles of human rights, and fair hearing shall be held, adhered and ensuring justice integrity of every responsible citizen of the world be protected. That’s why the fundamental of Dr Babandi Isa Gumel must be protected.
This is reason behind issuing this statement by our international credible and recognized global democratic, human rights and justice “Advocates for Probity and Good Governance” with official designated offices across Africa and Nigeria in particular.
Dr Babandi Isa Gumel, has been an honest man, transparent and accountable to all in all his official responses in public service.
He’s deeply concerned about transparency,good justifiable outcomes in respecting due diligence and due process while upholding the sanctity of truths and fairness in moving the affairs of Jigawa State Savings and Loans Limited; his body language critically, clinically, anthropologically frowned at corruption, fraud, nepotism and divisive tendencies.
All the so-called allegations leveled against him were aimed totally at creating confusion, bad element of democracy and promoting evil and hated among good people of Jigawa. We urge the people to shun those allegations that lack basis of truth and human conscience.
The mushroom organizations are used as conduit pipe in blackmail, cajoling, deceits, lies, propaganda and misleading public in knowing the good work of Governor Umar Namadi in Jigawa State.
Governor Umar Namadi has been engineering large numbers of initiatives, policies and projects in the best interests of placing Jigawa state on the global map of democracy, and Jigawa State Savings and Loans Limited was benefactor to this policy under the amiable leadership of Managing Director, Dr Babandi Isa Gumel.
We believe that their sponsors, want to bring down the remarkable efforts and achievements of Dr Babandi Isa Gumel, in these critical organs of government.
Governor Umar Namadi, being an internationally recognized man of good governance, equally believes so much in the ability and overall confidence of Dr Babandi Isa Gumel by appointing him to spearhead this important financial institution to create more financial and economic independence opportunities in the interest of fairness, growth and overall development of Jigawa State.
As an independent and international organization are hereby strongly opposing and condemning the bad of these faceless people and urged them to desist from further fabrication of lies against the good image of the managing director of Jigawa Savings and Loans Limited. This must be stop. Enough is enough.
The reputable man of honour, peace, transparency, justice and integrity in person Dr Babandi Isa Gumel, was never for whatever reason found wanting in history with the skeleton in his cupboard.
Their reports violate section 2004 of Financial Intelligence Act; and 2007 Public Management Acts respectively. Collusion shall be presumed from a set of acts from which it can be assumed that there was an understanding, implicit or formal, overt or covert under which each person found responsible of fabricating financially related matters with no originating evidence must face the full wrath of law or expected that the other would adopt a particular course of action which would interfere with the faithful and proper application of such provisions of these acts.
Prayer:
We are praying for discreet re-investigation into the stated substantial allegations which may the conviction of such unscrupulous elements for fabricating lies and their sponsors, and this must not be swept under the carpets
We are ready to come forward with our set of attorneys to testify during investigation and subsequent prosecution of those propagandists if the need arises.
