Super Eagles Head Coach, Austin Eguavoen, has requested the immediate release of two players of Lobi Stars FC, Suur Kumaga and Ossy Martins to the Super Eagles’ home based camp.
The new development has brought the number of players invited from Lobi Stars FC to the Super Eagles home based camp to four.
Uja Emmanuel, Head of Media, Lobi Stars FC Makurdi in a statement in Makurdi, said Eguavoen, described the performance of the duo as brilliant after the Makurdi side encounter against Remo Stars.
The statement added that Eguavoen equally commended the Technical Adviser of the club, Daniel Amokachi for the performance put forward by his boys,encouraging the Lobi chief tactician to remain focused and acknowledged Lobi Stars FC as a good team.
In a remark, Amokachi appealed to the Super Eagles head coach to allow the players return home before traveling to Abuja to join the national team, describing their invitation as a thing of joy to have four key players of the club invited to the national team’s camp at a stretch.
The statement further added that Suur Kumaga, a utility player for Lobi Stars is full of energy and ready to compete at the highest level against any opponent while Ossy Martins, Lobi Stars striker has already scored five goals for the club this season and has being in sparkling form.
On his part, Chairman, Lobi Stars FC, Philip Nongu, in his reaction described invitation of two more players of the club to the national team as a welcome development.
He appealed to the teaming supporters of Lobi Stars FC to keep praying for the team for better performance.
