Emeka Ihedioha resigns from PDP

The former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP after being a member of the PDP since 1998 when it was founded.

In a letter to the chairman of the PDP in his Mbutu ward of Aboh Mbaise local government area of Imo State which was also copied to the state chairman, the national chairman and the chairman Board of Trustees of the party, Ihedioha accused the PDP of being unable to carryout internal reforms and live up to expectations as the main opposition party.
