GAP: Middle-Belt goes spiritual over conflict and instability in the region

The Great Awakening Project, GAP, is set to bring spiritual revival, peace, and development to Nigeria’s Middle Belt Region, which has long been plagued by conflict and instability.

The event which is slated for October 24 to 26, will witness thousands converging at IBB Square in Makurdi, Benue State, for the Middle Belt Worship Experience, with the theme “Awakening the Spirit”.

Guest Ministers at the crusade include, Apostle Malcolm Orkar from the UK, known for his life-changing teachings, Reverend Sam Alaha; Prophet Michael Bacon, Bishop Dr. Isaac Robert and many more local and international leaders.

Conveners of the event; Apostle Dr. and Prophetess Mrs. James K. Dennis from Ottawa, Canada, believe this gathering marks the beginning of a long-prophesied revival in the Middle Belt.

According to Apostle Dennis, “We are not just here to worship; we are here to spark a movement towards restoration and development in our communities.”

He said the Middle Belt Worship Experience represents a turning point for local leaders and residents to address pressing issues including, violence, displacement and economic instability

He also disclosed that the programme would be an opportunity to harness the power of faith for tangible change.

Bishop Mike Angou and Dr. Sam Abah, coordinators of the event, assured that this will be more than just a series of worship sessions, but “a powerful force for good in a region yearning for peace and development.

The GAP invites everyone in the Middle Belt and beyond to join this momentous occasion.

Apostle King David Ajav, Special Adviser to the Governor of Benue state on Religion and Society and host of the event, expressed believe that, the spirit of unity, healing, and restoration could be ignited.
