Benue State Governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, has appointed Kpenkaan Johnpaul as the Executive Secretary of the Benue Investment Promotion Agency, BENIPA.
Alia who made the announcement through his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula Friday in Makurdi, said Kpenkaan, a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience, is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants ,FIMC, and a Certified Project Management Professional,PMP.
According to the statement,the new head of Benue investment promotion Agency also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, summa cum laude.
Before his appointment, Kpenkaan served as Technical Adviser to the Managing Director of Benue Investment and Property Company, where he chaired the Central Planning Committee and oversaw the successful hosting of the maiden Benue Local Investors Forum in December 2023.

He also served as Director General of the Nigerian Youth Chamber of Commerce, securing accreditation from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and pioneering the development of the Academy for MSMEs.
Governor Alia expressed confidence in Kpenkaan’s ability to drive investment growth in the state, giving his wealth of knowledge and experience, expressing optimism that he will bring a lot to bear on his new assignment.
The governor charged Kpenkaan to prioritize the state’s interests and work in line with the administration’s seven-point agenda, expressing confidence in his ability to excel in his new role.
