The Sokoto State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has praised Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto for his outstanding leadership and achievements, positioning the state on a path of hope and glory.
State APC chairman, Isah Sadiq Achida, made this known during a press conference to highlight the governor’s competence and resilience in service delivery.
As contained in a statement by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Senator Aliyu Wamakko, Bashar Abubakar emphasized the numerous achievements within just a period, indicating that Sokoto State is being rapidly repositioned in terms of infrastructure and human welfare development.
On the security issue, the chairman said the current administration has reduced insecurity to its barest minimum.
According to him, Governor Ahmad Aliyu, raised the standard of education in the state, upgraded healthcare centres, provided all that is necessary to farmers, ranging from fertiliser and seeds, addressed both urban and rural transportation problems and empowered several men and women with tools and funds through the Skills Acquisition Programme so that they can be self-reliant.
Achida also gave a pass mark to Governor Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto for the fulfilment of his pledge to pay the New National Minimum Wage of N70,000, saying the efforts have positively impacted the lives of civil servants in the state.
He said the Ahmed Aliyu administration has so far proved to be a blessing in all fields of human endeavour, and as the holy month of Ramadan approaches, the Annual Ramadan Feeding Programme would be expanded to accommodate more people.
