Kebbi SSAs Forum vows to complement Gov Idris’ developmental agenda at grassroot

The Kebbi State Forum of Senior Special Assistants has resolved to mobilize more efforts from the grassroots to assist the Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu Government to achieve the development objectives of the state.

The Forum at its meeting in Birnin-Kebbi on Sunday, affirmed the unwavering loyalty and support to the developmental agenda of the Dr. Idris’ administration.

The Forum resolves to work with the people at wards level to monitor and ensure that the projects awarded by the government are carried out to the latter in accordance with the laid down regulations, and give feedback to the governor on all issues affecting the people.

The meeting which was led by the Acting chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Ibrahim Adamu Argungu, also resolved to mobilize all resources to assist the government towards the development and welfare of the people of Kebbi State.

Aside that, the forum intends to levy themselves to assist the poor in the society to complement the welfare mechanism of Idris-led government whose policy thrust is assisting the vulnerable on the bottom ladder in the society.

“We have resolved to mobilise our thin resources from our monthly pay to assist the needy as much as we can to cushion the effects of economic realities in the country”, he said.
