S/court judgement: Deputy governor, political appointees hold prayers for Sule’s victory

Ahead of the Supreme Court hearing on the governorship election in Nasarawa state slated for Tuesday next week, Christian political appointees including the state deputy governor, Dr Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, Wednesday, converged in Lafia to pray for the victory of Governor Abdullahi Sule.

The prayer session which held at the state ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to intercede for the Apex court to affirm the victory of Governor Abdullahi Sule was led by the state deputy governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe.

Akabe who led other political appointees to the prayer said Governor Abdullahi Sule deserved a second tenure in office considering his developmental stride cutting across all sectors.

“We are with governor Sule no matter how. With or without, our loyalties belong to Gov. Abdullahi A. Sule. Whether we are doing eyes service or not, Gov. Sule remains our mandate”, the political appointees declared.

Earlier, the convener of the programme and senior special assistant to the governor on Christian Religion matters, Venerable Jubrailu Yerima said the event was put together to pray for the success of Governor Abdullahi Sule on the Supreme Court judgment and prosperity of Nasarawa state.

Political appointees that attended the intercessory prayer include,; Commissioners, Permanent secretaries, special Advisers, and Senior Special Assistants among others
