Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, has again extended olive branch to opposition parties to join his administration in collective leadership to strengthen good governance and economic prosperity of the state.
The Kauran Gwandu renewed the invitation at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, Wednesday, in his goodwill message to the people of the state after attending the Eid-el Fitr prayer at the Gesse Phase Two Eid prayer Ground.
“Now that elections and politics are over, I am inviting the people of the state of all shades of opinion irrespective of party affinity to partake actively in the development of our state to reach the level of development desired.
“Majority of the people voted for me, I am thanking them as well as others for their support, loyalty and cooperation”, he said.
Governor Nasir Idris affirmed that the government would uphold infrastructural, economic, agricultural, education and provision of quality health services to the people.
“The General Hospitals in Argungu, Yauri and Zuru, would be fully rehabilitated and equipped with modern facilities to serve the inhabitants and operate as referral health institutions”, he emphasised.
He congratulated the people of Kebbi State for the successful completion of the Ramadan Fast and celebration of the Eid-el Fitr.
Comrade, Dr. Nasir Idris requested them to sustain fervent prayers for the success of the administration, peace, security and prosperity in the society.
In his remarks, the Minister of State for Education, Dr. Tanko Yusuf Sununu, who performed the Eid prayer with Governor Nasir Idris, urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the success of the Tinubu administration at federal and state levels.
Dr. Sununu described Governor Nasir Idris as capable leader with the requisite ability to govern as demonstrated by the level of development achieved since assumption of power.
