Sokoto Chief of Staff bags Service Delivery Award

The Chief of Staff to Sokoto State Government, Aminu Haliru Dikko, has been conferred with Service Star Award (service delivery award) by the Centre for Patriotism and Values Re-orientation.

Presenting the award, the national coordinator of the center, Ambassador Muhammad Abdullahi Ado, said the award is in recognition of the chief of staff’s contribution to the development of Sokoto state and the country as a whole.

According to him, the chief of staff being an astute and seasoned administrator, has contributed greatly to the development of Sokoto state.

He added that the chief of staff was nominated for the award in view of his track records of service, and service to humanity.

Press Secretary to the state government Abubakar Bawa said, “This award is in due recognition of your extraordinary achievement and contributions to the development of the state and our nation, Nigeria” He added

Receiving the award, the chief of staff Government house Sokoto Aminu Haliru Dikko mni commended Gov Ahmed Aliyu for the opportunity given to him to serve the state,saying the award is not for him alone, but the entire state.

He further commended the center for patriotism and values re orientation for finding him worthy for the award,which he described as a Clarion call for him to give in his best in the service of the state and Nigeria as a whole.

He called on them to also pay more attention to issues of national orientation,so as to reawaken the citizens on the roles expected of them in achieving Nigeria of our dreams.

“As a body you all have a greater role to play in citizens education so that the upcoming generation could be well informed on the challenges facing our nation and the way forward”

The Grand service star award (service delivery award) was presented to the chief of staff in his office.
