The special adviser on media and publicity to the governor of Kebbi state, Alhaji Yahya Sarki, on Wednesday gave out ten thousand naira each to no fewer than 100
vulnerable persons in Shiyar Sarakuna Birnin Kebbi.
Speaking during the disbursement of the welfare package, the media aide said that is in compliance with the directive to all political officeholders by Governor Nasir Idris to give back to the society.
“We don’t have much to give but we feel the urge to contribute our quota to our society”, he said.
To boost the welfare package, the special adviser to the governor on energy and politics, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant donated one hundred thousand naira to aged women who graced the occasion to break their fasting.
The maiden occasion drew top politicians in the state including the sole administrator, Birnin Kebbi local government council, Alhaji Dahiru Na Yaya and a host others.
