Education minister flags off IDEAS TVET training for 1,000 Kebbi youth

The minister of Education, Tunji Alausa has kicked off training for at least one thousand youth under the federal government IDEAS TVET project in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state.

Represented by Marcus Edoko from the IDEAS project, the minister said that the youth carefully chosen are undergoing hospitality skills training at Alkali Hussaini foundation.

According to him, at the end of the training the youth are expected to become self reliant and even employers of labour to complement federal government push to close unemployment gap through training of youth in Nigeria

” The training is holding at Alkali Hussaini foundation which is a center for human capacity building, we are here on behalf of minister of education, Tunji Alausa to formerly flagg off the hospitality training skills for Nigerian youth, the IDEAS TVET project was designed by President Bola Tinubu led government to equip able bodied youth for self reliance”.

Ibrahim Hussaini, the executive director of Alkali Hussaini foundation who hosted the federal government officials for the official lunch of the IDEAS project pledged the center’s commitments to through and responsible training for the over one thousand youth of Kebbi state.

He described the training as a blessing to Kebbi state and for the youth so chosen to benefit from the project .

” We welcome you all to Kebbi state, we wish to assure you our unwavering commitments to deep and quality training of youth entrusted on Alkali Hussaini foundation, the famous foundation will instruct moral as we train them on hospitality skills”.

Hussaini stated that the one thousand youth selected for the training will be trained by Alkali Hussaini foundation for the duration of six months.
