Kebbi Assembly suspends famous lawmaker over alleged unguarded utterance

Following the executive session held last Friday, the clerk to Kebbi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Sulaiman Shamaki, announced the suspension  of one member of house, Honourable Hassan Umar Namarocco over an alleged unguarded utterance.

The unanimous letter did not indicate the duration of the suspension which was signed by him and made available to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi state capital.

Reasons for his suspension remains sketchy as of time of filing this report as the suspended APC member representing Birnin Kebbi North in the state chamber could not be reached for comment as his mobile number was switched off.

However, a source close to him who craved anonymity said that as at  10.18am on Monday, Umar was yet to officially receive the suspension letter from the state assembly.
