Governor of Kebbi state, Dr Nasir Idris, on Friday administered oath of office on four new high court judges and two new khadis in the state.
Speaking shortly, after the swearing in, the governor announced the approval of three hundred million naira for the procurement of new vehicles for the new judges and khadis.
According to him, the welfare of judicial staff is paramount to his administration just as he charged them to live above board by being fair to all manner of people in the discharge of their official duties.
Muhammad Nuradeen Abdulrahman a famous lawyer was among the four new high court judges who took the oath on Friday. Before his appointment, he was an active lawyer.
Top judicial officers and political echelons in the state attended the swearing in ceremony which was held at government house Birnin Kebbi.
Similarly, Governor Idris flagged off national Qur,anic recitation competition at convocation ground of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi.
