The Sokoto Command Police Commissioner, Ahmad Musa, has emphasized the command’s commitment to working closely with journalists in the state.
He made this statement during a courtesy visit by the executive members of the Correspondents Chapel, led by its chairman Ankeli Emmanuel.
Musa highlighted the importance of information dissemination and expressed appreciation for the role of the media.
As a former PPRO of the Abuja Police Command, he understands the value of a strong relationship between the police and the press.
The Commissioner assured the journalists of an open-door policy, encouraging inputs, informal interactions, and social discussions to maintain a smooth working relationship.
He described the media as one of the friendliest outfits and emphasized the critical role they play.
