Following victory of Kebbi state governor, Dr Nasir Idris, at the Supreme Court on Friday, chairman of Trade Union Congress, TUC, Kebbi State Council, Alhaji Atiku Alkali has urged the governor to be magnanimous in his victory.

He noted that as much as he is elated with the apex court ruling, he wants the governor to continue as he began by carrying everybody along in his people-oriented policies that would have direct bearing on the people of Kebbi state.

On the demands of his union, Alkali said that they have officially written to the governor and he pledged to meet all of them in due time.

“The governor is one of us; a core comrade so we are confident that he will meet our demands in no distant time”, he added.
