Benue State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has described the planned decamping of its two members Yandev Amaabai, national ex-officio and Mbakorlumun Chia, vice chairman for Benue North-West to the All Progressives Congress, APC as a common feature of Nigerian politics.
Bemgba Iortyom, the parties publicity secretary, who made the remark while reacting to the decamping of the duo, yesterday, in Gboko, in a statement said the party has seen nothing wrong with the political migration of its members to the ruling APC.
He said the Benue PDP family wished the two former officials of the party well in their continuing political foraging
The Benue PDP spokesperson further announced that the party would in line with its laws fill up the vacant position with competent hands in the shortest time.
