The Director of Bauchi State Vigilante and Youth Empowerment Agency has expressed sadness over the passing of great Islamic jurist, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi.
This statement was issued and made available to media organizations by the public relations officer of the agency, Abdullahi Idris
The statement reads “On behalf of Bauchi State Vigilante and Youth Empowerment the Director General, Ambassador Umar Aliyu Shayi expressed deepest condolences to the entire global Muslim community over the lost of well-respected Islamic jurist,symbol of peace, unity, development,love and harmony among humanity.
“Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi was a spiritual leader of excellence who lived a life of compassion and integrity in all perspectives,he was a great example of humility by all global standards”.
Shayi prayed for the departed Sheikh to rest in paradise and urged Muslim communities and by extension his family to bear the great lost.
Sheikh Bauchi was buried in Bauchi on Friday when unprecedented crowd gathered at the Bauchi Eid ground to pray for the repose of his soul and to pay him their last rest.
