The Director General Dr Umar Shayi has received another remarkable special award from the Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, Sani Aliyu .
The development was disclosed to the media by Agency’s Head of media and communications strategy, Abdullahi Idris in Bauchi.
“This award presentation was another beautiful milestone added to the DG’s remarkable efforts to ensure improved security of lives and properties across the state”, the statement revealed
Meanwhile, CP Aliyu, while presenting the award on behalf of the police command urged Dr Shayi to continue with his great efforts in ensuring community policing has come to stay across the state.
The police commissioner urged all stakeholders to give firsthand intelligence report to security agencies in their quest for peace, development and prosperity in the society.
Responding, Dr Shayi said he was dedicating the award to the service of humanity, peace and development initiatives which are hallmarks of societal productivity and sustainability.
He appreciated all conventional and non-conventional security agencies for more effective collaboration and commitment in accordance with the law and order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He however, commended Governor Bala Mohammad for job well done in all fronts of state development.
Dr Shayi is presently the Permanent Secretary designate in the agency who doubles as chairman Special Constabulary Police, Bauchi State Command, couple with his position as ACG operations of Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS).
