Emir of Zuru felicitates Idris, harps on equitable projects execution in Kebbi

The Emir of Zuru Major-General Muhammadu Sani Sami Gomo ll has advised Governor Kebbi State to remain focused and sustain his determined effort to turn around the fortunes of the state. 

The advice was contained in a press release from the Emir’s congratulatory message to the Governor on his one year anniversary, signed by Sadaukin Zuru Abdullahi Idris Zuru.

General Sani Sami observed that the moderate achievements recorded particularly in the state capital within the last one year was unprecedented in the history of the state.

According to him “We now have a state capital with comparatively standard facilities befitting its status”

While commending the Governor for his relentless efforts in reducing the menace of armed banditry, the Emir acknowledged the attention being accorded to agricultural development, educational sector, establishment of skills acquisition centres for the training of the unemployed youths and payment of accumulated pension and gratuity.

He admonished him to sustain the tempo of infrastructural development but ensure fair and equitable distribution of projects and programmes across the state regardless of ethic and political affiliation.

However, the Emir reminded the Governor on the socioeconomic challenges the people of Zuru emirate are subjected to over the years resulting from apparent abandonment of Koko-Zuru federal road.

” The people of Zuru emirate are absolutely loyal to your administration and have absolute confidence in your ability to save them from the present unfortunate situation they have innocently found themselves ”

General Sani Sami Gomo prayed that Allah will grant the Governor good health, courage and wisdom to continue providing meaningful development to the people of Kebbi state in the years ahead.
