Ganduje visits Senate chambers to receive defecting lawmakers

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje in company of Kebbi State governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, and some members of the National Working Committee of the party, on Tuesday, was at the Senate chambers to witness the official defection of former Kebbi State governor, Senator Adamu Aliero alongside two other senators from the state who have said ‘good bye’ to the political party that produced them; the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The three senators had last week indicated interest to defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC; a promise they have kept.

According to media unit of the party, “The APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, accompanied by members of the National Working Committee, witnessed the defection of Kebbi state Senators, Adamu Aliero, Yahaya Abdullahi, and Garba Maidoki from @OfficialPDPNig back to the APC during Senate plenary”.

Senator Aliero was also former minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
