Government donates modern equipment to Kebbi Radio

The Kebbi State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Alhaji Yakubu Ahmed Birnin Kebbi, has affirmed the Ministry’s readiness to continue to provide services and promote policies of the state governor, Dr Nasir Idris.

The Commissioner stated this while receiving state of the arts studio equipment presented by the General Manager of Kebbi Radio, Engineer Mahe Mohammed Birnin Kebbi procured for the station by the governor to enhance the station’s operations of informing and educating the public.

Handing over the equipment at the Ministry’s premises in Birnin Kebbi on Monday, the Commissioner commended Governor Nasir Idris for the continuous support to the Ministry in its efforts to effectively disseminate programmes and policies that have direct bearing on the lives of the citizenry in the state.

He tasked the general manager on effective utilization of the equipment to disseminate programmes aimed at promoting Governor Nasir Idris laudable policies, programmes and achievements

Earlier, presenting the equipment to the Commissioner at the Ministry of Information premises, the General manager Kebbi Radio, Engineer Mahe Muhammad said the equipment will enhance the station’s operation.

He said as part of the digitization policies of the federal government of Nigeria, the era of manual broadcasting and handling of scripts is over by the station.

Engineer Mahe Muhammed thanked Governor Nasir Idris for the support for Kebbi Radio to enhance its operation.

Items procured according to the general manager include high quality Sonny Voice recorders, HP Laptop Computers, Acer Desktop Computers, audio mixers and Grounding Sate-light digital studio radio receiver as well as local area network.
