HSK Foundation visits Bauchi remand home, offers humanitarian gesture

A non-governmental organization, HSK Foundation under the leadership of its executive director, Hajiya Sa’adatu Shuaibu, in fulfilment of its core mandate recently visited a remand home in Bauchi to put smiles on faces of the inmates by offering humanitarian services, psycholoogical and moral supports.

This development was revealed to the media by Abdullahi Idris, the Secretary of HSK Foundation who revealed that items distributed during the visit were detergents and soaps to juvenile delinquency and urged them to become born again members of the society.

The leader of the remand home conducted the HSK delegation to the various sections of the home for more familiarization.

Various speakers equally expressed their significant remarks and called on the stakeholders to support the commitment of HSK charitable organization.

Meanwhile, the secretary to the foundation appeal for support to remand homes across the country.

In her remarks, Hajiya Sa’adatu Shuaibu reminded stakeholders on the importance of humanitarian initiatives, including offering scholarships to the needy.

“One of the central obligations that forms HSK charitable organization is putting smiles on the faces of destitute, hungry, marginalized, less privileged, vulnerable and orphans across social stratification. It’s believed that this has fallen on the policy template, initiatives and agenda of this prestigious foundation”, Sa’adatu stated.

She however called on various tiers of government in Nigeria to support charitable organizations with relief materials be it in cash or in kind.

The Executive Director concluded by appreciating the leadership of remand home for giving HSK foundation all the maximum and necessary support and encouragement while visiting the place.
