Jigawa governor appoints 82 new aides, urges productivity

Jigawa State governor, Umar Namadi has approved the appointment of 16 Senior Special Assistants and 66 Special Assistants.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State Mr Bala Ibrahim.

The statement listed the names of the newly appointed Senior Special Assistants as follows:

1. Abdullahi Suleman Buji Stakeholders Engagement

2. Abba Abdullahi Gobari Citizen Engagement

3. Sale Ahmed Zauma Youth Mobilization, Gumel Emirate

The statement explained that the appointment is based on merit, competence and personal integrity.

“It is therefore, hoped that, the appointees would justify the confidence reposed on them and put in their best towards the development of the State” the SSG said.

While congratulating the appointees, the SSG urged them to work diligently for sound execution of the present administration’s policies and programmes.

The statement said all the appointments take immediate effect.
