Jigawa reaffirms commitment to security agencies

The Jigawa State government has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting security formations in maintaining peace and security across the State.

The Permanent Secretary, Special Services and Council Affairs, Alhaji Bello Datti Dutse, disclosed this during a tender opening for the procurement of 10 Toyota Hilux and 50 motorcycles for security agencies in the State.

He explained that security is a vital part of Governor Umar Namadi’s 12-point agenda,emphasizing the government’s dedication to safeguarding the lives and property of its citizens.

Datti urged the technical committee to ensure a fair and impartial selection process and called on the successful contractor to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe.

The Director General, Due Process and Project Monitoring Bureau, represented by Engineer Shu’aibu Ali,assured that the selection process would be transparent and compliant with the Procurement Act and Due Process laws.

Responding on behalf of the contractors, Shu’aibu Adamu of ZURFAT Nigeria Limited expressed satisfaction with the bid opening process.
