Kebbi govt urges intending pilgrims to come up with N1.9m balance

The Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has called on intending pilgrims from the state to make haste conclude the second trench payment of N1.9m (one million, nine hundred thousand Naira) hajj fare balance to enable them perform the 2024 pilgrimage in the holy land of Saudi Arabia.

Executive chairman, Kebbi state, pilgrims welfare agency, Alhaji Faruku Musa Yaro who disclosed this said that the increment is not in Nigeria alone but globally, therefore admonished those who earlier make deposits to come to office as bank staff have been deployed to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Yaro explained that the increment is a directive from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) not from Kebbi agency.

However, the agency confirmed the availability of fresh hajj seats at N8,254,464.74 for those willing to obtain new seats.
