Man accused of homosexual in Lagos, declared wanted by community

One Mr. Onyejekwe Emmanuel Dinma has been declared wanted by his community for his alleged homosexual act.

The 37-year old Emmanuel lives in Alimosho area of Lagos State, and was said to have been caught in the act with one Mr. Benneth Chibuzo in Lagos sometimes in September 2023.

According to family sources, luck ran out on Emmanuel, whose mother was hoping to be a Catholic Priest before her death in a motor accident, when he was allegedly caught having sexual intercourse inside a room with Chibuzor.

It was learnt that the duo was caught when Chibuzo’s girlfriend and three other ladies visited him and met them in the act in a room because they forgot to lock the door.

“As the ladies opened the door and saw both of them naked and having sex, they raised the alarm because homosexual practice is a very serious offence in Nigeria since the former President Ebere Jonathan signed the Same Sex Marriage Prohibition Act, SSMPA, bill into law.

“On sighting the ladies from the bed, Emmanuel managed to escape while Benneth was caught and beaten to a pulp by the angry mob and has been in police detention till date”, a source close to the family said.

All efforts by both the Alimosho community, security agents and individuals to reach Emmanuel has proven abortive.

According to our source, it was said that there have been rumours about Emmanuel’s alleged homosexual activities in the past which resulted in people of the community being angry with his escape saying.

“We won’t accept such acts in our community, not now or ever, it is an abomination in our culture, our beliefs and against the law in our country”.
