Kebbi State branch of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives, NANNM, has used the occasion of sallah to appreciate the state governor, Comr Nasir Idris as well as nurses in Kebbi state for their selfless services to communities.
The state Chairman of the association, Comrade Kilani Abdulwaliyu in his sallah message stated that nurses and midwives in the state had submitted their lives to the services of the state at various health abodes giving care to deserving million people of Kebbi state.
“We can’t thank you enough for your support as we pilot the affairs of the association which wouldn’t have been possible without you. So we greet you at sallah, hoping you celebrated the occasion in good health”
Kilani also used the opportunity to commend the governor of Kebbi state, Dr Nasir Idris for providing better working conditions for health practitioners particularly nurses and midwives to drive robust and an all-encompassing healthcare delivery services in Kebbi state.
“I must appreciate Governor Idris for an improved pay package tor my members, but I want the government to know that nurses graduates and needs to be included in new package immediately in order to boost healthcare services in the state”.
The unionist urged his members to stay put at their work places to justify their earnings just as he pledged to ensure all their rights are well protected at the association level.
