Nasarawa ex-Speaker, Balarabe urges politicians not to overheat the polity

The immediate-past Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has appealed to the political gladiators not to overheat the polity saying that it is now time for governance.

Balarabe who noted that the time was not ripe for politicking ahead of 2027 instead that rather than overheating the political arena politicians should use the energy and time to pray, support and allow elected representatives to focus and deliver on their mandates.

The former Speaker who stated this when the former Chief Executive Officer of National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr. Faisal Shuaib paid him a Sallah homage in his residence in Umaisha, Toto Local Government Area of the state, said when the time comes, government will give them direction of where to go while stakeholders will give their advice where necessary.

Balarabe Abdullahi, who appreciated Dr. Faisal for the visit said peace, unity and development of Toto and the state should remain their priority.

“First, let me thank God Almighty for the gift of life and for us to witness yet another sallah festival, I also thank you sincerely for finding time to identify with me, may God bless you”

Earlier, Dr. Faisal Shuaib said he has come to identify with the former Speaker at sallah period as a political leader in the area and appreciated him for the good work he is doing for his people.

” I have come with my entourage to pay you sallah homage as our political leader, I have visited His Royal Highness the Ohimegye at the palace to identify with him on this sallah before coming here. Let continue to work for peace, unity and prosperity of our land” Dr Faisal added.
