NGO set to begin 3-day advocacy in Benue

Non-Governmental Organization, NGO, Concerned Women International Development Initiative, CWIDI, has concluded arrangements to begin a 3-day advocacy in Benue State starting Wednesday.

The initiative aims to address gender-based violence, promote gender equality, and ensure equitable participation of women in decision-making.

According to Chinenye Chidozie, a member of the Board of Trustees, the non-profit organization will engage the justice sector, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders during the 3-day advocacy.

The goal is to create awareness and promote policies that support gender equality and women’s empowerment.

CWIDI is dedicated to preventing gender-based violence and promoting gender equality.

The organization believes that women should have equal opportunities to participate in decision-making processes,pointing out that the 3-day advocacy in Benue State is a step towards achieving this.
