One year anniversary: APC stalwart lauds Gov Idris’ positive impact in Kebbi

A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Yawale Adamu Sawwa, has lauded the successes recorded by the leadership of Dr. Nasir Idris in just one year in office as Kebbi state governor.

According to him, the governor has set the pace for others to follow in terms of impactful leadership, one that every citizens in Kebbi state can testify.

Notable among them include breath taking structures in the state capital abandoned by past governments in the state.

“Before his coming, the state capital was a laughing stock as it has nothing to be called a state capital.

“Ours was a shame in the comity of state capitals in the country but we now have roads, remodelled roundabout with state of the art facilities aside radical rebound of educational sector”.

On the sidelines, Sawwa also commended humanitarian gestures of his younger brother, Alhaji Umaru Buro, whom he described as a pillar to the success of Governor Idris.

He explained that Buro’s impact was felt through assistance given to nearly one thousand orphans, widows and the indigents in the state to complement what the governor is doing in terms of philanthropy.

Sawwa urged the people of Kebbi state to support the government of Idris to continue the execution of meaningful projects in the state.
