In view of the outbreak of an ailment which claimed some lives in Waziri B ward, Sokoto North Local Government, a non-governmental organization – The Rain Healthcare Initiative and Good Leadership has donated sanitary materials to the affected communities as its contribution and emergency response.
Team of officials of the NGO was led by the executive director and CEO Usman Hamza who handed over the materials to the ward head of Waziri B, Alhaji Garba Ladan, for onward distribution to members of the communities.
Ladan expressed gratitude with the kind gesture by the NGO and assured judicious distribution to the community members.
During the presentation, health officer from the Sokoto North Local Government who supervised the presentation drew attention of people to always ensure maintenance of good hygiene.
He appreciated the donation by the Rain Healthcare Initiative and Good Leadership.
