A non-governmental organisation, NGO, operating in Koko/Besse local government area of Kebbi state, Sarkin Koko Malam Musa Foundation, has opened no fewer than 14 Ramadan feeding centers with a capacity to feed at least 1,400 fasting persons daily for 30 days.
The foundation owned and financed by Hon. Shehu Muhammad Koko, a former House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, stated that, ramadan feeding is one of the things the foundation is doing the less privileged in Koko/Besse and Maiyama.
Koko warned those handling the feeding centers to ensure quantity and quality in the food they supply everyday ” I expect rice with beef, pap and bean cake, bottle water and drinks in every centre till 30 days”, he said”
He urged clerics to pray for peace in Nigeria and admonished them to feed the poor for sake of Allah in order to gain His favours here and the hereafter because in the holy month of ramadan all prayers are quickly answered and good deeds rewarded handsomely.
