Newly posted zonal Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ali Baba, has been assured of the necessary support and cooperation needed to undertake his assignment successfully under his command.
Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko gave the assurance when the Zonal Commander paid him courtesy visit at his Gawon Nama residence area, Sokoto, to formally introduce himself as newly posted to Sokoto State.
Spokesman to the Senator, Bashar Abubakar, in a release said Wamakko told the Zonal Commander that Sokoto is one of the peaceful states that honour all the heads of security and paramilitary chiefs that came for an official engagement.
The Senator, While asking the new commander to feel free while in Sokoto, also charged him to maintain the standard and professionalism met in the Command to succeed in his affairs.
Speaking, the new Commander, Malam Ali Baba, informed the Senator that he came to solicit support from him as a leader and key figure who has the organization at heart all the time.
He added that, for him to succeed in discharging the affairs of the Command, leaders like Senator Wamakko need to come to jointly help them adequately.
He requested an open doorway from the senator for the elderly and leadership advice for him to achieve the set objectives.
