To Put the record straight, according to him, the issue of unsafe drinking water was there before he came to the senate and provision of portable drinking water is a collective responsibility with the large chunk of it from the state government.
He the resources of a senator is not enough to provide safe water for Yauri town without assistance from the state government.
“We are doing as far we can with lean resources to meet some of your demands, so we need your support and understanding to do that”.
He added that haven written to the state government several times, it means that provision of safe drinking water is not the responsibility of a senator alone, even as he share the pains with them but wants them to press the government hard enough while at his own end he is doing his best to bring succour to them by initiating water schemes to the extent that the purse of a senator can afford.
