Sokoto Government denies any case of cholera outbreak

The Sokoto State Ministry of Health has confirmed that there was no any form of cholera outbreak in the state as has been reported.

Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Alhaji Ahmad Abubakar Walin Gagi said they had taken adequate precautionary measures that would prevent the outbreak.

He similarly advised the residents to ensure sanity and use clean water at all times especially in this rainy season.

He then called on all to as a matter of urgency report any outbreak to appropriate places for immediate action.

He said Governor Ahmad Aliyu has provided enough protective medicines throughout the state for precautionary measures as part of his Smart Nine-Points Agenda.
