Sokoto State Ministry of Health says it is ready to partner with any association wishing to contribute to the development of health sector.
Commissioner for Health, Dr Faruk Umar Abubakar Wurno, stated this while receiving the executive members of National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria, Sokoto State Chapter, who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
Dr Faruk Abubakar assured of his ministry’s continued support to the association in view of its important role in the health sector.
The commissioner also pledged to run an open-door policy so as to receive useful advice to move the sector forward.
Earlier, the chairman of the association Bashir Ahmad Gwadabawa, congratulated the commissioner for his appointment and pledged unflinching support and cooperation to enable him succeed in the discharge of his responsibilities.
