“He graciously gave directives for the immediate verification and subsequent payment of tuition fees of over 7,744 students studying in Usman Danfodio University Sokoto.

“This year 2024, in the midst of economic crisis when students almost lost hope, the youth-oriented governor extended the same gesture of settling the tuition fees of over 5,996 students in the university”.

The students’ leader said other things worthy of appraisal are the deployment of intra-city transportation in UDUS motor park to convey students throughout the metropolis at subsidised rates, pledge to build modern large capacity hostel facility that can accommodate students.

He similarly commend Special Adviser on Students Matters, Alhaji Abubakar Salame who has been working tirelessly to ensure smooth and effective conduct of students’ day-to-day activities as students.
