Stop castigating Buhari, Tambuwal tells Tinubu administration

By Muhammad Ibrahim, Sokoto

The former Governor of Sokoto State and a serving Senator representing Sokoto South Zone, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to stop castigating President Buhari’s leadership.

He said APC as a party has no plans for developing Nigeria rather than grabbing power just to rule the country which has been his ambition.

He affirmed that Tinubu’s government has failed woefully to secure Nigerians and execute meaningful development projects.

“There is no reason for President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to allow his aides or Ministers to be castigating and attacking past APC government under Muhammadu Buhari which he has tremendously benefitted from.

“President Tinubu should face developing Nigeria with serious-minded attention and not allow certain myopic tendencies in his government to destroy his good plan on securing our nation and bringing cohesion and development to our country if at all he is ready”.

He charged PDP supporters not to be discouraged about the happening in the country, but instead to unite and ensure political understanding amongst themselves.

“Nobody can change our country like determination and commitment for a good course as we are all known for, our party supporters should be united in bringing such for the progress of the party.

“You have been in the vanguard of change and political unity, this will be your guiding principles of peace and political unity with discipline and respect to everybody in the party”.

He then commended the People Democratic Party (PDP), and Sokoto state leadership for their sacrifice and performance of ensuring unity and development of the party.
