Youths under the aegis of Jagora Buro Youth Vanguard in Kebbi State has joined in the growing calls for Governor Nasir Idris to succeed himself in 2027.
Speaking to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday, the state coordinator, Comrade Isiyaku S. Galadima, said that after extensive survey in urban and rural areas in the state, the group arrived at the conclusion to push for continuity of Idris-led government in Kebbi.
Galadima noted the governor’s achievements in health sector where he provided enabling environment accompanied by huge renumeration for doctors and nurses to narrow the chances of exodus to federal health facilities for greener pastures.
He explained that Idris-led government aggravated farming through free distribution of fertilizer to rural farmers and solar-powered pumping machines to boost dry seasoning farming.
“As Jagora Buro Youth Vanguard, we have an unbiased records of his administration’s achievements ranging from human capital developments to social infrastructure being fairly shared across Emirates in Kebbi state “.
The group contended that despite security challenges in the state, Kebbi state government has sustained logistics support to combined security forces through the provisions of patrol vehicles and moral support to encourage the fight against insecurity.
The continued onslaught against criminal elements in the state farmers have returned to their farms and several internally displaced persons camps were closed and victims have reunited with their families.
According to him, the group got fascinated by such unequal achievements therefore advocates second term for the governor for the benefit of youth and people of Kebbi who already began calls for continuity.
” We are calling on the people of Kebbi state to close ranks to collectively endorse Idris and president Tinubu for second term bid in 2027″.
The group also noted strides in education where Kebbi state government provided furniture and renovated many schools in the state capital and villages and recruited teachers and built new schools all in his efforts to revamp education as a teacher governor first time in the history of Kebbi state.
Galadima commended Alhaji Umaru Buro and the commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs Abubakar Umar Dustin Mari for their enormous support to youth group even as they pledged to mobile hundreds of youth in support of Idris government in Kebbi state.
