The wedding event between Mr. Sunday Okoro and Miss Praise Adaeze Ephraim witnessed a huge success, Saturday, at the Assemblies of God, Apo Mechanic Estate in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
Sunday Okoro hails from Onicha local government area of Ebonyi State while his sweetheart is a native of Eziagu in Enugu State.
The guest speaker, Reverend Godswill Okon who represented the sectional leader of Assemblies of God Kuje in Kuje Area Council spoke things that make a marriage work.
He took his text from the book of Genesis 11:1-8 and Amos 3:3 where he encouraged the new couple to make sure their marriage works.
He said for a marriage to work, the couple must have communication amongst themselves, show gratitude to each other, grow in the marriage together, understand that both of them can disagree, trust each other, learn to forgive and be proud of each other.
Before he joined the new couple, the host pastor, Reverend Clement Akpan reemphasized the need for the husband and wife to love each other and work together in the interest their new home.
The master of the ceremony, Mr. Philip Mbazu who officiated the reception programme thrilled his audience with excitement.
Chairman of the occasion is Dr. Okechukwu Igwe, medical doctor serving at Gwarimpa District Hospital, and he also encouraged the new couple to show love among themselves.
