Ahead of 2027 general elections, groups and associations in Benue North East Senatorial district also known as zone A which comprises of seven local government areas have continued to mount pressure on the young and People loving Engineer who has risen to an enviable position of Deputy Director in the Federal Civil Service to run for Senate in order to Rescue the Zone from years of Infrastructural decay and Under development in the Zone.
Latest amongst the groups is Zone A Action Mothers who in a letter of invitation, appealed to Ugboho to come and Rescue the Zone by joining the race.
The letter whuch was signed by the president and secretary in the persons of Aondonguwasen Orga- Afia and Mavis Atoo, whom are president and secretary on behalf of the group and released to journalists yesterday in Makurdi.
The leaders said they’ve seen in Engineer Ugboho, a perfect Choice due to his vast experience in the federal civil service they believ he will bring to bear on the zone for greater prosperity and for the fact that he is from the same local government area of Ukum with the present occupant, a new generation politician who is very simple, accessible and one who has impacted positively in the lives of people across the senatorial district and his immediate community.
They also noted with satisfaction that apart from being eminently qualified to represent the zone at the red chambers, Ugboho has satisfactorily done well in the area of community development particularly in Ukum his local government area using his personal resources.
Similarly, Zone A Action Mothers, outlined some of Ugboho’s achievements to include, institutionalization of scholarship scheme for students of Ukum studying in Tertiary institutions and Secondary Schools, having discovered education as the second industry after farming.

They said Engineer Ugboho has assisted people from different communities without minding where they come from by settling hospital bills, irrespective of tribe or local government area, sponsoring political campaigns for those who zoning favoured but lack finances, provision of food and cash to the vulnerable, construction of a Catholic Church in his Ugbaam ward, provision of boreholes which according to the women leaders is the first of its kind since the return of democracy, describing the engineer as a detribalised Nigerian whose efforts if supported will contribute meaningfully to the development the zone which has been ravaged by violent insecurity issues and Benue state at large.
Orga-Afia and Atoo, argued that development would not thrive with the killings in Sankera, as such a grave need for Transformational and able Representation at the Red chambers.
