Kebbi State governor, Comrade Nasir Idris, has assured the determination of his administration to continue with developmental projects across the state to ensure equity and fairness, especially in the rural areas.
He disclosed this while flagging-off All Progressives Congress (APC) campaign for a rerun election in 25 wards of Arewa/Dandi federal constituency as ordered by the court in two local government areas.
Speaking at Buma village in Dandi local government and Kangiwa in Arewa local government area on Monday, the governor recalled that the electorate had earlier declared a convincing win for APC during the previous general elections and urged them to do more by coming out en mass to vote the party’s candidate, Alhaji Garba Rabi’u-Kamba.
The state chairman of APC, Alhaji Abubakar Kana-Zuru, reminded the people of the areas that they forwarded some requests to the present administration and all their requests were met.
On his part, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Empowerment, Hon. Muhammad Hamidu-Jarkuka, reminded the people of the good gesture of the present administration and why they should vote for APC.
While canvassing for block votes for the party, Hamidu-Jarkuka promised to donate a vehicle to any polling unit that produces the highest votes to APC.
In their separate remarks, the council chairmen of Dandi and Arewa, Hon. AbdusSalam Jibril-Kamba and Hon. Sani Aliyu-Tela lauded the present administration for what they described as laudable projects that have direct bearing to the lives of their people.
The duo encouraged their people not to disappoint the Kauran Gwandu administration in view of its level of commitment and determination to ensure positive development across the state.
