Kebbi loses third pilgrim in Mecca

The Chairman, Kebbi State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Alhaji Faruku Musa Enabo, has announced the death of another pilgrim from Kebbi State.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Mecca, the deceased Abubakar Abdullahi Gulma from Argungu local government died after a brief illness.

Governor of Kebbi State, Dr. Nasir Idris who expressed shock over the death of the pilgrim, extended condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to Allah to grant him Jannatul firdausi and the fortitude to bear the loss.

The statement added that, the deceased has been buried according to Islamic rites. His death now account for three pilgrims from Kebbi state, one female and two males so far before the commencement of hajj rituals of 2024 hajj excercise.
