In a bid to reposition Lobi Stars FC Makurdi, management of the club have requested that all staff members present themselves for verification at McCarthy Stadium tomorrow Saturday by 10:00am prompt.
The request contained in a statement signed by the club secretary, Terhemen Saawuan, and made available to journalists Friday in Makurdi, said this followed a directive from the ad-hoc committee appointed by the Benue State House of Assembly to investigation the operations of Lobi Stars FC which required management to submit a comprehensive list of all personnel currently on its payroll.
Saawuan in the statement further explained that the mandatory screening excluding players is applicable to all staff beginning with the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season up to the present day.
He equally maintained that management underscores the necessity of adherence to this directive, warning that members of staff of the club who failed to attend the scheduled screening would no longer be considered as staff of the club.
