Women in Kebbi State have been urged to support President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda being implemented at both urban and rural communities to empower women of all ages, races and religions.
Kebbi State chairperson of National Council for Women Societies, NCWS, Hadiza Muhammed Kola gave the charge in an interview with NationsPride in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital.
According to her, the Renewed Hope Agenda was solely designed to accelerate human development particularly women who forms a large portion in the society as catalyst for societal growth and development.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda is currently being facilitated by Nigeria’s first lady Senator Remi Tinubu and supported in Kebbi here by Kebbi first lady, Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris and the duo have made giant breakthrough in women empowerments”, Kola said.
She noted that hundreds of rural and urban women have dared to cross the path of men by embracing farming in their various homes while a substantial number of them have received cash supports traced to Renewed Hope Agenda for menial trades and are doing well in their chosen businesses.
She stressed that as the apex women body, they are duty-bound to enlighten women on the need for them to take advantage to rekindle their hopes by coming forward to access the grants and boost their means of livelihood.
The state women chief commended Senator Remi Tinubu for her thought and Kebbi first lady, Zainab Idris for ensuring the success of the programm.
